I was thrilled when I received reprint permission from the editor-in-chief of Aerospace America.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I love how Truax uses simple, straightforward, cocktail-napkin calculations to disprove the &quot;logic&quot; of our current national space policy.  I purposely included the SpaceX image at the top of the page because I believe that they--more than any existing aerospace venture--are closest to following Truax&#039;s advice, and thus the most likely to succeed where so many others have failed.&lt;/p&gt;
